My name is Tye Walsh, and I am a 6th year member of the Bon Accord 4-H club. My steer is a Limousin Angus cross that I picked out from the Walsh cattle herd. My steer started of the year at 714lbs and with a final weight of 1280lbs. He was hand feed barley and corn silage every morning and night. We keep our 4-H steers in a separate pen with my two brothers steers. The feed was locally and grown and harvested in sturgeon county. This year I decided to put an implant in my steer to get maximum feed efficiency. With the implant I was able to get better gain with less days to finish my steer which is better for the environment since it takes less feed to gain more. I would like to thank all our previous Buyers and especially Sturgeon Valley Fertilizers Ltd. St Albert branch for purchasing my steer last year. We would love to see all our new and experienced Buyers at our online sale. We thank you for your support!

Bon Accord 4-H Online Steer Auction Sale
The Bon Accord 4-H Club as well as GD Auctions and Appraisals thank you for considering the purchase of one of these fantastic beef steers.
Weights of steers were taken on May 15th, 2021 and are booked at Country Quality Meats for May 27th, 2021. Buyers are responsible for cut and wrap fees.
Bids are taken on a per pound basis in increments of $0.05.
Example: Steer Weight X Bid Price = Sale Price
1200 Lbs x $2.00 Per Lbs = $2,400
If you wish to purchase a steer at the sale strictly for promotional purposes and do not wish to retain the beef, we will handle delivery of the animal to VJV in Westlock for resale on May 28th.
